Arts4Action: Scalable Creative Ops for Artist-Led Fundraising

Overview
arts4action is a grassroots artist-led initiative that mobilizes visual artists in response to global injustice. Since its inception, the project has raised over $75,000 across four online sales—supporting urgent humanitarian causes through the sale of original artworks.
My Role
As Creative Operations Lead, I helped scale Arts4Action from a one-off emergency fundraiser to a repeatable, streamlined platform for impact. My contributions spanned:
Content systems: Built and refined workflows for curating, naming, resizing, and uploading hundreds of artworks and artist bios.
Technical innovation: Spearheaded a partnership with an engineer to build a custom content uploader, replacing the previous manual web entry.
Creative leadership: Curated imagery for social channels and designed over 100+ visual assets to support campaigns on Instagram and LinkedIn.
Collaboration: Trained and onboarded new volunteers, created resource guides for photographing and formatting artwork, and directed the creation of a centralized artist intake form.Artist support: Contributed original artwork to all four sales, personally raising $1,250 for aid efforts in 2024.
