Overview

Lost in Found is a podcast exploring the future of creativity—featuring voices from across the arts, technology, and media.
As Creative Director and Illustrator, I led the brand identity and early visual direction of the show. Working closely with the marketing and executive teams at Catch+Release, I developed a bold, space-inspired visual system that signaled innovation and aligned with the company’s forward-looking narrative.
In addition to art direction, I shaped early content strategy, produced initial episodes, and appeared as a featured guest—helping establish the tone, storytelling arc, and editorial cohesion.

Challenge

The goal was to create a distinctive brand experience for a new podcast within the Catch+Release ecosystem—one that could stand alone while reinforcing the company’s creative leadership in culture.
Early visual concepts (including a hot pink logo and color palette) felt bold but limiting. The challenge was to evolve the brand into something more elegant, expansive, and future-ready—capable of adapting across diverse topics and visual interpretations for each guest.
This required:
• Designing an adaptable identity system that could scale across episodes
• Producing cohesive, visually resonant artwork for a wide range of themes
• The challenge was to scale a compelling identity that could grow with the show—supporting creative experimentation without losing brand clarity.

Solution

Editorial Brand System
→ Built a scalable visual system using linear elements, bold color palettes, and structured photo treatments to create a high-impact, ownable look and feel.
→ Cropped, layered, and composited abstract elements to create visual rhythm and cohesion—anchoring each episode’s identity with contrast-rich, black-and-white guest portraits.

Strategic Creative Direction
→ Defined the brand concept, guest experience, and early narrative arc to align with Catch+Release’s positioning as a leader in creative innovation.
→ Set a tone that balanced futurism with accessibility—supporting both editorial storytelling and cross-channel marketing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
→ Partnered with marketing, production, and leadership teams to align creative strategy, launch campaigns, and support sustained audience engagement.
